Sherman Hostetter, Jr., of Beaver, Pennsylvania, attended Penn State University on a golf scholarship from 1973-77 and graduated with a major in real estate and insurance. Presently, he continues the family auction business that was started by his parents, Col. Sherman and Doris Hostetter, in 1955. He is a full-time auctioneer and real estate broker licenses in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. Throughout his esteemed career, Sherm has championed the auction industry by serving as the president of Auction Marketing Institute, past president of the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association, and past president of the Northwest Chapter of the PAA. Sherman is also twice a past board member of the National Auctioneers Association and a past board member of the National Association of Realtors Auction Committee. In 1992, he won the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association Bid Calling Championship and in 2010, he won the West Virginia Auctioneers Association Bid Calling Championship. In 2013, Sherman was inducted in the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame. Sherman holds many designations including: the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI), Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate (AARE), Graduate Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Certified Estate Specialist (CES), and is a Certified Paralegal through Penn State University. Since 2003, Sherman has served on the Pennsylvania State Board of Auctioneer Examiners, appointed by then Governor Edward G. Rendell, and is currently the Chairman of the Board. His community involvement includes volunteering for his church and community teen Bible study and serving as the past school board director for the Blackhawk School District. Away from the auction business, Sherm enjoys playing golf, which he played professionally from 1978 to 1982, riding his Harley, trap shooting and spending time with his family. 

 

                                                                                                   

Matt Hostetter

Matt Hostetter is a third-generation auctioneer, carrying on the Hostetter tradition for integrity and honesty set forth by his grandfather and father.

Matt resides in Beaver Falls, PA with his wife, Cassandra, and 4 children. Matt specializes in Business Liquidations and Estate work.  Since 2009, Matt has helped transition the business to online auctions. Matt spends a third of his year working as a contract auctioneer throughout the US, England, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Dubai, and the Philippines.  

Matt is the 2013 PA Auctioneer Champion, the 2018 Champion of Champions.  A graduate of Reppert School of Auctioneering.  He is a licensed auctioneer in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Georgia, Massachusetts, Florida and Australia.



Kylee Hostetter

Kylee Hostetter is a 3rd generation auctioneer, who has been passionate about auctions since a very young age. She graduated from Reppert Auction School at the age of 13, and has since specialized in Real Estate and Benefit Auctions. With her extensive knowledge and experience, she has become a well-known figure in the auction industry. In addition to her successful career, Kylee is also a dedicated mother of six children. She is proud to be raising the 4th generation within her family's auction company, and is committed to ensuring that the legacy of her family's business continues for many years to come.

Shirl has been with her husband, Allen for over 40 years and has 7 children and 13 Grandchildren. She has also had 102 Foster Children and adopted 2 of those with special needs. Formally she has volunteered with and worked with the elderly and special needs communities which she has received awards and recognition from the state of Pennsylvania and local agencies. She truly loves this avenue of her life. She enjoys meeting new people and helping people on their life changes. 


Missy Sardo

Receptionist

Missy grew up in Peters Township and later ventured to Florida and Texas before eventually returning to her hometown. When she's not working, she finds joy in pouring acrylic paint and undertaking home renovations. Missy is a dedicated mother to three boys, with one of them still living at home. Her days are filled with the love and energy that comes with raising a family.
