In their own words: Thoughts from our bidders, sellers and benefit auction partners...
Dear Family Life Friends:
On behalf of the entire board of the Family Life Fund, thank you so much for your participation in making the 2016 A Sweet Gesture - A Casino Royale event at the Pittsburgh Fairmont Hotel onFebruary 13th a rousing success. As you are aware, the Family Life Fund is committed to assisting local causes that support families of children whose health or well being is compromised. Your generous donations will help support initiatives of the ACHIEVA Parenting Education Program, the Down Syndrome Association of Pittsburgh Teen Transition Program and the Family Life Fund.
The Family Life Fund is pleased to report that over $90,000 dollars was raised at this years annual event! Of course, none of that could be possible without our magnanimous and wonderful sponsors, live and silent auction donors, event participants, attendees and volunteers. An event such as this one takes much time and dedication to plan and execute. Your individual contribution is a critical piece of the all-important puzzle of assisting families and children in need in our local area.
We would especially like to thank Sherm Hostetter Hostetter for your generous donation of auction services. The Family Life Fund appreciates your donation and recognizes your dedication to our cause. We certainly would not be able to have such a successful yearly event without your constant support and for that we are eternally grateful.
Once again, on behalf of ACHIEVA, DSAP and of course the Board of the Family Life Fund, we are humbled by each of your "sweet gestures" and are proud to call you all "Friends of Family Life". We understand that there a great many causes that will need our assistance in the future and we are pleased to know that we can count on our "friends" for support. Sincerely Yours,
The Family Life Board
